Mego Museum Who is the Best of the American West?

Just another pointless Mego poll for a Thrusday afternoon.

For me, it's Crocket all the way. As a kid I liked his outfit and his slight resemblance to Joe Namath. Also his groovy green box was memorable.

Wyatt Earp for me. Great colors, cool chaps, double holster. The hat's a little odd, but it allows for a good stare down. Good mustache, too.

Wyatt Earp, baby! The dark colors, the black boots, the double slung gunfighter's holsters, the moustache! 100% two pistol packing Wild West goodness!

Weird! Scott and I were typing pretty much the same response at the same time. Sympatico!

Davy Crocket. As a kid to me he was always the epitome of an adventurer. Still don't know why Mego chose Crocket over Daniel Boone though.

I would equate that to the Fess Parker TV series being in syndication.

I voted Buffalo Bill. I could almost imagine this figure being a part of the actual old wild west show the real Buffalo Bill had.

I always found Crocket an interesting choice for a "western" series. I don't typically think of him when I think of the old west. But they did a great job on him so he gets my vote. Heck, they did a great job on all the western figures.

Makes you wonder if they thought about Jesse James when they were sitting at the round table but thought people wouldn't buy a figure of a killer.

Wasn't Davy at the Alamo? That's pretty western.

I'm not crazy about Davy's head sculpt. It seemed mushy to me.

True, but I'm thinking wild west based on the others in the set.
