Anyone Know How To Remove Magic Marker?

I found a great piece today, a 1960 All Star National League Team facimile autographed baseball bank. Some kid went to town on it with a Magic Marker. I am trying to remove the marker without hurting it. Its got the names of Clemente, Koufax, Mays, Aaron, White, Cepedo, and others.

    Any ideas?

Take q-tips with acetone (fingernail polish remove) do it lightly! Don't do too much acetone otherwise you might eat the finish or material top layer off the ball.

Remember, light and easy. You might go through a box of q-tips but it will be worth it when you eventually get through it!!

I thought about acetone, but was alittle afraid it would take the autographs off. I decided to use Clorax Wipes and gently rub my ball . After an hour, it came out pretty nice:

So many potential jokes here, I'm overwhelmed and can't decide which one to post.

You know Dave I was thinking that same thing but since I am not the most liked guy on here I decided to leave it alone.

Maybe it would have been better if someone who everyone likes perhaps you made the connections. Then it would have been funny.

No, I quit collection sports item a few years ago (other than LSU stuff), plus I did find a similar one on Ebay that sold for $108, it is in better condition, but missing the base:

Oh, I see. Yeah, that's a good idea to sell it higher and make more $$$$$$

I checked that link, there's no pics. That showed "X" mark.

Click the link again, the picture came up for me.

I should do very well from the garage sale this came from. I paid $1 for the bank and $1 for this envelope from Benjamin Air Rifle Co, from the 50's. It is full of tragets:

I also got about 20 models from the 70 and 80's for $1 apiece at another garage sale, I will post some pics in a while.
