Yes, just so. It's close in scale, a bit small like an attache case.

Suitcase wise, Chap Mei has something similar that comes with some of their 3 3/4" figures, especially the army sets. TRU sells them under the Real Heroes line. I cant remember if they are checkerplate or not though? I tend to think they are ribbed, but they might work, and those sets are cheap.....See if I can find a picture.
