This was inspired by Dixie Flatline's off-hand comment in another thread about who should be in the Retro waves. He rounded the number to make it an "NCAA 64", and it got me thinking - Mego Tournament Poll. I think it's a fun way to figure out who is the most wanted ReMego figures.
Here's the criteria I used.
Directions
NCAA tournament brackets. I have the brackets laid out and will upload it later so this can keep a surprise element for the first round.
Each link takes you to a polling question. Answer it and see the current results. After a number of days, I'll couple the winners and open Round 2, 3, etc.. we'll also pair the losers off so we can get a better value hierarchy.
I hope everyone gets involved because it is fun, especially the close calls. So remember, the only question you have to ask your self is
Which Mego would I want more?
Here's the criteria I used.
- DC Only- Since that's the Retro-Action license.
- Silver Age to Early 80's, predominantly. - One pair of 90's villains made it for more of a challenge. Otherwise, it holds to the Mego era.
- No Previously Made Characters - That's a different poll. Batman is the perfect example. Some like RC, some don't. Some want a Jim Lee design, others want Silver Age. etc...
- No Secret Identities or Alter Egos - Billy Batson, Diana Prince, etc.. only superheroes.
- No Superhero Variations - Superboy, Nightwing, Parallax, etc...
- 32 Heroes, 32 Villains - keeping to the 2/2 Retro wave ratio
