New "Mego-Size" Hulk? Perfect fit????

I found this new Hulk out at Walmart last night when I was hunting new bodies for my custom Rhino.
After taking some pictures with this figure up next to my Megos, I am thinking about keeping this figure for the Hulk and adding some purple pants.

I normally use a 12" Mego Hulk when posing them with my custom megos for obvious reason. I cannot stand that crappy too-short seven inch mego Hulk. I have never liked it. I am thinking this new Hulk is the perfect thing I have seen in a long time. They are only fourteen bucks at Walmart. They have stacks of them!

Look at how he fits, size-wize. Except for the blue pants (which I am going paint later or add cloth pants if I decide to keep him.) I think it fits.

Thoughts? Perfect fit??

UPDATE!!!

At the request of Megomuseum members, I decided to make some purple pants for this figure. After trying to make them look ripped up and raggy...

Two small things I see that I'd prefer differently.

Maybe a bigger head if possible? And a "shorts repaint" Purple!

That head is awfully small isnt it? Doesnt look like it would be easy to rig a Mego Hulk head up to the body either.
The scale itself is great...add some cloth purple pants and hes off and rampaging!

Yeah, I think so. I am going to grab some grayish material tomorrow and do some measurements and make a body suit for it (after I buy another one) and I am gonna add some sculpty to the head and see how a custom Rhino would look. I betcha it would be pretty smooth!

I think this oneis the right size for Hulk Wrattie...love the set Strange ,surfer and Namor really rocks!

Yep! Doing it as we speak! I just got back from Joann Fabrics with some nice purple fabric. I have "take down" the blue pants with a grinder and I am currently stitching together a pair of Hulk ripped pants.

I measured the body and created a pattern (if anyone is interested, probably not....I did offer. LOL)

Besides my music, I eat, ****, drink and **** MEGO. It is on my mind constantly. The thought of...hmmmm what would work with MEGO. My girlfriend thinks I have gone nuts. Am I alone when you are out shopping and see things that are MEGO scale?

the only thing i dont really like on him, but i'd not fix cause its not that big of a deal, is the waist looks kind of outof proportion with his chest. its not that bad but sometimes that happens and it makes some toys look really cartoony. i still lov it though.. and cant wait to see the purple pants.=]
