    No-Prize Contest

Sometimes I miss doing the WGT Blog, just for the freedome to post random, stupid stuff and silly contests. I sure don't mind having the extra time for other things, but still...

Anyway, here's something in the spirit of the Blog. I came across a picture that was on my "short list" of book cover photos, ultimately choosing another photo instead. When I marked this image in my Adobe Bridge program, I quickly scrawled some lyrics that came to mind upon reviewing the image. I took time to clean it up, adding the remaining lyrics and some dialog balloons.

We'll consider this a "No-Prize" contest, ala the old Marvel comics letters sections. To win, name the THE HUSBAND of the artist (spelling counts!) who made this song famous:

          Nice job, guys.

And yes, Pat Benatar DOES rock! In fact, "Get Nervous" was the first cassette tape I ever purchased (after the 'demise' of vinyl), and I've always loved her.

Neil Gerardo was and still is one of my favorite guitarists!!
Great tone and always melodic. He's also playing git on Rick Springfield's Working Class Dog as well as co writing on some of the songs,
              I think that's him on Jessie's Girl,Love is alright Tonight,all those!!
Some very dark and cool guitar on Pat's album Precious Time.
Maybe I'll spin some Pat B on the way to work!!Thanx for giving him well deserved props Ben!!!
