So wyldpny, how many custom trek figures have you done now? I've lost count, but it must be in the hundreds...and each one is just as good (or even better) than the last. Nice work sir...and kudos to your hardworking wife as well!

No problem. I remember David Gerrold talking about him and Gene Roddenberry tossing ideas back and forth about how to incapacitate the crew in that particular episode. Gene was playing around with a dodecahedron he had on his desk as a decoration and one of them suggested that the aliens turn the crew into those things. And the rest is history.
