    He sounds like one of those great older people that you just don't come across anymore. Really touching tribute Brian, makes me wish I'd known him.

        Really sad to hear about this. Brian had pointed him out to me earlier at that toy show, now I really wish I had introduced myself to him to say "hi". I absolutely love the line of 12" Superheroes and Mr. Kotzer was truly the father of that line.

              Very sad to hear Mr. Kotzer passed away. I lived in Canada for a number of years and there was always a large supply of used and sometimes new Mego products in the collectors shops and second hand stores, which I considered a luxury. It's inspiring to think that Mr. Kotzer was responsible for bringing these toys to Canada.

                My father was a "spirited character". He loved the toy business. His best memories were his Mego days.
                We were miss him. Thank you for your lovely heartfelt tribute.
