Edited to add: Did anyone else get the vibe that they were doing a little homage to the opening of "Twilight Zone the Movie" by playing CCR and then both turning into whiteface monsters?

great episode, the best line for me was "I sing".

I think it would have hit harder if something like Alara's hat "offense" had been the impetus for the story (but not with her character because that would have been a whole other story) instead of making it to where Lt. Lamarr can never, ever be on an away team again. Ever. For any reason.

Otherwise, I thought it was some pretty good (obvious) social commentary. Not a bad episode, but not as good as some of the others have been.

I enjoyed this episode, but I thought Black Mirror's "Nosedive" episode handled the social-media-gone-awry-society with more nuance. I am still thrilled to have an unapologetic science fiction show on network television!
