Pasadena, CA GI JOE & TOY SHOW (Pic Heavy)

What a great event. First Toy Show I've been to in a while and it didn't disappoint.

Raideen got things off to a good start when we got there.

First time I've seen Daimos as a Shogun Warrior. Dude's always pricey, whether he's Popy or not.

The third zero kept me from bringing The Space Knight back to the crib.

Gotta' love Howie "the hack" Mandel's toy.

    Heiler in Da House!

    Those Batmobiles looked sweet.

Cylon Pinball almost came home with me.

    Chillin' like a villain.

    So much Takatoku Love

Our friend from the dark lagoon.

    Box o' Fun

No Bulletman in sight, but I did find a loose Deep Sea Diver Joe.

We went to the nearest restaurant to celebrate.

I'm no Joe expert, but from what I've researched, this is from the '69/'70 version, as he has 4 lead weights on his belt.

    What a great day!

Funny; when the Seller handed me the figure, he said, "It's the greatest toy ever made."

Looks like a heck of a great show, happy to see the book there (in original shrink wrap no less) I wonder who that was? Thanks for sharing it.

Glad you found the Deep Sea Diver. Very Cool. I'm no expert, but from what I can read on Vintage 3D Joe website, I think your assessment that it's from the 1969 line is correct.

Thanks for letting us know how your hunting went and thank you for sharing the awesome pictures. Tons of toy goodness in those shots.

Cool pictures. I had those Flintstone models as a kid and would have snapped them up again.
