ReMego Sculptor recognized by the academy

Last night, my friend Sean Sansom was part of a team that won the Oscar for their work on Suicide Squad, it was so trippy to hear his name on the teevee.

Sean has sculpted many ReMego figures including Brick Mantooth, EMCE Universal monsters, Bif Bang Pow Twilight Zone, Big Bang Theory, Six Million Dollat man and many of the Presidential Monster figures to name just a few.

It's particularly rewarding that he won for it Squad because he conveyed to me that it was a tough shoot.

I texted him last night, he was pretty sure Star Trek Beyond was going to get it.

That's pretty swell. It's nice to see friends who are insanely talented get recognized or a good dose of deserved success.

Was bored at work when I saw this post, so I randomly decided to re-listen to the old museum podcast with him.
The talk of oversized heads was fun.

Congrats to him. He's one talented dude. I used to marvel at his number 6 sculpt.

I just saw that when I looked up his name. Awesome! The best part is that the connoisseurs keep mentioning the win out of context, so the movie gets more and more recognition, so congrats to him!
