Clubber Lang was one of greatest fighters in all boxing history in his peak. Knocked out Rocky in 2 rounds. Was the only man to strike fear in Rocky's head.

Clubber Lang was a one dimensional puncher. Rocky made the mistake of going toe-to-toe with him. In the rematch, Rocky danced circles around him...and took him out. What happened after their second bout? Lang never contested for the title again.

Apollo Creed was the best boxer...but obviously he was on the way down...and Rocky on the way up.

Now Clubber Lang vs Ivan Drago...I would’ve paid good money for that one...

P.S. Tommy Gunn knocks them all out in a real boxing match...

Zod, Maul, Roy Batty, the T-800... all serious antagonists.
Might also add the Kurgan to that list.
And for monster/creature types... the Alien and the Predator.
(And a special mention of course for Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees.)
Darkness as played by Tim Curry in Legend is also very menacing... just a pity he was defeated by Tom Cruise and a bunch of pixies.

Tommy Gunn was the most realistic opponent in the "classic" Rocky franchise.

Using Rocky and then turning on him for a short trip to fame and glory was so realistic.

Rocky 5 could have been a lot better if written, produced and directed differently.

First thing, get rid of the street fight … Gotta happen in the ring even if unofficial and non sanctioned

I didn’t list Alien or Predator because I was sticking with humans, but yes...good ones.

Darkness defeated by Tom Cruise and a bunch of pixies, lol...

Death. And I don't mean the hooded guy. I still remember as a kid seeing "Superman" on its original release, and after watching Lois Lane die slowly in the car, genuinely worrying what Superman could do after failing to save her.

If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.

                            Yup!

Nothing more horrifying than rape, gender is irrelevant, rape is rape.

Having said that, the way Willian Wallace went in Braveheart, well, that was not too nice either.
