General question, but out of all of the Phantoms that were produced by Cast-a-way Toys, what is the most collectible and the hardest one to get? Any ideas with current values? Thanks

I would say the Captain Action Phantom would likely be the most valued since it was out very briefly and caters to the CA fan base as well.

Dave and Jason would know better, but it seems to me the FX Red Phantom is the most collectible (from a $ perspective) and the CA as Phantom is the hardest to get (from a numbers produced perspective).

Yup... that's right. There were 160 of the Red Phantom's ( L'Uomo Mascherato ) for FX employees and volunteers... the Phantom CA's filled just the pre-orders..like 200? can't recall... it was pretty much over at that point.

Re the early bird editions of this figure. Did they originally come with the figures dressed in the regular purple outfits, with the additional "bagged" olive and grey outfits/heads, or, did they come dressed either in the grey and olive costume, with the purple outfits/heads "bagged".

Both were wearing the purple outfits. The grey/olive heads and outfits were bagged.

^^^ Looks like they just switched it out to display the Green version. That's what I did with all of mine, because I like to display the differences. I'm never selling them, so I had no problem cracking them open to enjoy them. Makes for a nice display. Here are my variants... Oops! Forgot to add my Grey Ghost too. But you get the idea.

They look great. I have a regular purple and Red Phantom and would love to get one of the "Olive" Phantoms. I put up a post requesting one but so far no luck. Hopefully one will come up. Once again MIB41, you have a great display there.
