    "Fixing" wobbly heads

We've discussed adapting all kinds of body parts here, I thought I'd share how I quickly adjust wobbly heads--it works for all sorts of bodies.

I buy bags of those vinyl pony-tail holders--little flexible circles that come in clear & black. I put one or two of these around the neck post as needed to make the head fit more snugly.

It's a very cheap, very quick method, which has the advantage of being easily removed or adjusted. Plus, they seem pretty inert--you don't have to worry about tape residue or gumminess.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

      Scott,

Great minds. I did this with my custom kit bash 9" SMDM bigfoot. It was purely accidental when my daughter left her ponytail holders on my workbench so I just thought I would try it out and it worked perfectly.

I have two daughters. I guess I will be raiding their hair supplies tonight I'd really like to fix my Batman, even if he remains packaged for now. Thanks!

Great idea! I noticed the Type S bodies seem to be hit or miss with this when switching from FTC bodies. Sometimes the head from the FTC body would wobble on a Type S body, sometimes it actually fit better.
