things I oughtta know, but don't

and I hope to rectify that

For the CAW fans out there that have 'em all. I have some ?s.

I know the Dailies version of the Phantom was a sort of a kit bash put together with parts in stock, a dash of paint here and there, and a nifty cardback.
Did the shooter hands on the Dailies have rings on them. If so, were the hands painted or cast in the light blue/grey color.

I am assuming the Dailies were all on the light blue/grey bodies that CAW briefly sold. Were these bodies used for any other formal releases? Did the Dr Eville V2 use the lighter body? I have an early Dr E, and was fortunate enough to nab enough parts to make one for my son way late in the game. Both of those are on the blue colored bodies. Some of the pics I have seen of the later Dr Evilles look much more pale to me however. Not sure if that is just lighting on those specific pictures or what.

Were the CAW Phantom boots only used on that figure? I have some extra boots from CAW, but they are much more similar to cut down Klingon boots than to the phantom ones. Are the Phantom boots also what CAW sold as 'hero' boots?

Can anyone post a pic of the Hypnotic Eye that was with the early bird figures?

    Here's what I remember...

the shooter hands did have rings on them. the hands were cast in the grey color.

The grey bodies were not used on any other formal release that I am aware of. The Dr. Eville figures did not use the grey body.

    sorry... can't remember any more.
    Fresh, not from concentrate.

^Yes, I think the gray bodies and hands were done for this run. I don't think they were used elsewhere, except for maybe individual loose sales. Dr. Eville's body was more blueish, and less gray than the Dailies figure.

What amazes me most about the Dailies Phantom is how perfectly Bryan matched the color of the face paint with those bluish grey bodies. Flawlessly executed.
