Come on CAT Boys! Say something!

You have a huge fan base (me among it) and you guys have been sooo quiet lately! Come on and say something! This thread (a place to discuss CastAWay products) is completely static. Come on CAT Boys! Say something!

My guess is that it is merely the calm before the storm. Totally looking forward to whatever they have planned also: )

As self-appointed spokesperson for Cast-A-Way toys, let me assure you all that you are never far from Dave and Jason's hearts. I would categorize this period as the 'calm before the calm.' They are exploring a few different options right now. If anything, expect to see more deals like the ones recently with the AJs and Flatt items.

I'm really looking forward to the 1/6 Ming, as well as the 1/9 Buster Crabbe version Flash Gordon and Ming.

I'm still hoping we see more "The Phantom" merchandise.

I would like any 1/9 variation they'd like to offer or--better yet--a re-release of the standard purple suit Phantom. With how nice the Buster Crabbe 1/6 Flash Gordon is, I'd love to see a 1/6 Tom Tyler Phantom, as well. It's a natural move, Castaway--think about it!

I hate to see that CAT is so crippled thanks to the debacle in China. CAT just really seemed like it was about to explode and then it all fell apart. Shame as I always felt good giving them my money, knew there was a lot of love, quality and dedication in each release.

Is CAT in bad shape? I thought the trouble w/ Day2Day Trading was on Go Hero's end and CAT kind of saved the day on the Flash Gordon project.

It is the fact that the molds, for their 8 inch bodies, were stolen, and now they have to regroup and start over with another Chinese manufacturer.
Hopefully for them, things will get back on track soon!

They really need to release a preview of their Ming the Merciless. I am pretty much panting with anticipation to pre-order. Take my money, Castaway!

Thanks for that link, Batman89. I don't recall reading that and don't know how I missed it. That just sucks.

I spoke with the larger of the two CATboys awhile ago, and the site is still operational and they are still filling orders from what they have in stock.
