    Mego Scale Dog Tags

In 2008, I did a mego GI Joe custom (see my link) using a shrunken head with flocked hair. At the time a very nice Board member sent me a dog tag in perfect scale for mego's.

I have no idea where he got this from or which line, etc. It says "GI Joe" on the dog tag as well.

I'm reaching out to the talented customizing pool here for ideas on where to find a mego sized dog tag for some new customs I'm working on.

(also still searching for a few pairs of black AJ boots )

    Thanks as always!

You could make them out of plastic plate and paint them silver or gray....

Wonder if Laser Mego could do something like that.

you can get 1/6th scale dog tags at places like War-Toys or monkey depot, just not official Joe tags.

                Hmmmm....

You could get small sheets or strips of metal and cut them down. To add words and/or numbers you could get one of them tap kits with the characters on tiny chisels and smack 'em on with a hammer. (The same way you'd put serial numbers on stuff.)

I got shiney aluminum textured paper finally for Major Bludd.
If I did it again I'd use decals.

Why not decals? Laser Mego plug!

The Sigma Six Gi Joe tags are perfect and the figures they come with are 8 inch, I used one of the bodies for a Klingon captain custom.

They are, but I've had little luck finding many around.
