    Flocked hands pix as promised

Ok, so the camera isn't liking the closeups so these pix are not the best...

These are the Zaius hands I am doing for Sandy...

    here are the hairy grippers...

These pix do no justice, they are amazing upclose and in person...

Those are great, the grippers actually work for my scale females and may eventually need a pair for Tigra.

You're right about that, especially if you're referring specifically to an APES head... Not only does it lose a lot of detail, but the figure's head looks bigger than it actually is... Plus it looks like he's wearing the hood of an arctic parka giving the appearance of a kid from SOUTH PARK rather than Cornelius...

Thats it! I needed somebody to tell me NOT to do it. It's REALLY tempting with the Non Helmet Gorilla. Not enough paint. But I dont want to loose the sculpting detail . Plus my Apes heads are gifts !!!

Still. I sent a Mugato to Joe Hair. Worse just got better!

FLOCKED, disco albino unicorn space monkey tanning bed guy!

And I saw the Cornelius thread. Pics of a Land Adventurer hair Job on a Cornelius.

Flockings for smooth heads like GI Joe I think. Where youer not losing anything. Still If I had TWo of the Ape sets and teh $ I might do it just for fun.

I'm glad you're not going thru with it... You lose too much detail and it just doesn't look right... It's trying to make it something it's not... I'm not even sure if it belongs on the Mugato, but then again, he's so far off from the fur body suited figure it should have been that anything might be an improvement.

I agree with you that as far as the flocking goes it doesn't look bad on smooth headed figures like GI Joe, and as far as MEGOs go, when applied to something like an Action Jackson (where it basically becomes a mini GI Joe) it looks decent... But overall, just because something "can" be flocked doesn't mean it should be...

Reminds me of a blind date I went on. LOL

How about flocked ape feet then?

Thanks to the Mego Museum review I hate the scupt on the ape soilder. I have two and think I'll get them sculpted. Still saving Non Helmeted Ape General.

Ape hands and feet would be great. Ape arms would rock!

Turning GI Joe into a 8 seems weird. Hes 12 inch for me. Supes is ( inch. Mego is Star Trek POTA . SCi Fi . For ME

                          Mugato feet would ROCK! FLOCKED!

I cant find them on Doc Mego Repro. Much better for balanced a ape. Ever tried the Mugato! :-D Balances great

Not much could make to mugato worse so I flocked!

Gorillas I would like to see in fuzz hands. They dont have furry cuffs. maybe a Zira hand aswaop too.
