    Kudos, Long Overdue: Roberto Ligotti

    Hey all,

Not sure if anyone checks this forum anymore... I've been away far too long!

If you're here, however, I just posted a new Blog. I want to send a loud and public "thank you" to fellow board-member Roberto.

    Check it out:

    Kudos, Long Overdue: Roberto Ligotti

So we have Roberto to thank for finding you a publisher...
Let me be the first then (well, second) to send out my heartfelt thanks to Roberto. And to you of course Ben for putting in all the time, blood, sweat and tears for writing the book and getting everything together. It really is the book of all books

And here I thought Berto was only the Wind Beneath My Wings.

I honesty never knew he was so influential in getting the ball rolling.

Crap, Heath, neither did I! LOL. Actually, a few people mentioned TwoMorrows to me along the way, but the first (and most eloquent and helpful, I will add), was our very own Roberto.

I am finding more Emails -- other folks who were instrumental in the book's completion -- which demand a toast here and there, so I expect we can raise our glasses again soon.

Have to admit, I really enjoyed posting another blog!

You know, I haven't been on the Museum regularly in a while, but yesterday I felt a disturbance in the ether and felt that I needed to log in. Now I know why - Welcome back Ben! Your posts always bring a smile to my face.

As for Berto, I agree wholeheartedly. I'd heard this story once before, but it warms my heart to hear it again. He and his brother Tom are excellent human beings who are like family to me (the kind I like ). I raise my glass (of tea, because I am stuck at work) to Berto for his key role in helping Ben bring us this wonderful book, and to Ben, who stuck it out when others would have folded to give this gift to the World. Slainte!

I seem to remember a post that effect as well. Well deserved kudos indeed.

I feel the same. I remember when this puppy was just something that came up in the Facts forum several years back. I knew it would take a graphic designer and one with such devotion that Ben has to Mego Toys to complete it. You can see that it truly was a labor of love. I hope you can find it in yourself to do a followup with Star Trek and the Legends.

But thanks so much to the both of you for making this happen. The book is a gemstone.
