The first two episodes were slow burns, and lost the rest of my family. Episode 3 really escalated things quickly, and episode 4 set up the rest of the series, I'd imagine. Real gripping stuff, and very well done by the writers, crew and cast. I shamed my family for not sticking with it! ;-)

This week's episode was one of effective character development and tension building.
The writing and acting is strong in this series.

i am enjoying the show. it is a slow burn but they have enough episodes to build up to something. i missed it when watching, but apparently in the antiquities shop, was Indiana Jones's whip frozen in carbonite

this show is really developing nicely. i love that it shows a side of things not seen in the movies. the street level effect of Imperial rule. it's slow moving but we get to see a lot of supporting characters like Mon Mothma

It's certainly a well constructed show. Seeing the inner workings of the Empire's vast bureaucracy and the clandestine activities of the fledgling Rebellion makes for compelling viewing.
And of course, the occasional glimpse of iconic elements such as TIE Fighters and Stormtroopers is the icing on the cake.

The finale is so good. There's a post credit scene, so stick around to the end. This show has been exceptional on every level. Now begins the long wait until the second season.

Exceptional on every level is really the perfect way to put it. All credit to Tony Gilroy, who put together an incredible show

it was a great show and it was something different within the SW universe which makes it stand out even more. can't wait for S2

At this stage of my life, I find myself avoiding gritty “down-feeling” shows, opting for lighter fare. But this won me over with exceptionally tight story-telling. And all in the SW universe. By the end of this season, I was all in.

What a genuine pleasure it was to watch this series. I don't hand out praise much anymore, probably a fault with me getting older, but wow what a great series this was and in my opinion is the best series on Disney+.

Beautifully shot, they used CG only when they had to and all of the sets and practical sets were just top notch. The "used in feeling" for Star Wars was front and center and made it all look believable. The cast was amazing as well, all great choices.

To top it off with having 12 episodes for the series to stretch out in was great. Some will call it slow, and it was, but well paced slow. I read that season 2 is planned for 12 episodes as well so something to look forward too for sure!

i suspect S2 will move faster though as I think it is set to take place over the remaining 4 years before R1

I had read that as well. I bet there will be a considerable time jump between seasons.

or they will devote 2-3 episodes per year leading up to just before R1
