Not trying to be a big tease, but I'd hate to say too much, just in case the guys have any thoughts of eventually producing any of these things. There were several potential projects Jason spoke to me about that would have been very well-received by fans and collectors, ans some were not the untapped licenses you may think of. It would have been fun to come up with some packaging artwork for these lines as well!!!

I don't begrudge the success of any of the Retro-styled companies, but it really irks my strong sense of right and wrong that the boys aren't basking in the same glow, and reaping their just rewards. Total BS.

Not so fully gone. Dave is selling some awesome vinyl emblems right now and says he will have a small customs parts shop up soon. I'm pretty excited to see what he may have kicking around.

It goes without saying, I LOVE Castaway. The Phantom was their flagship character and that entire collection overlooks my office every single day with Chris' wonderful artwork on display. For all the stuff I have collected in my 48 years of life, I believe this line is my most cherished. Great design, great outfits, and the ONLY company to ever do a serious line of merchandise on this character. It will never be topped. Great memories, great product, great people behind this company. I wish them the very best and hope one day the phoenix rises once again from the ashes. Castaway has EARNED the right to be here.

Last night I put together a figure from all Castaway parts...

^ Paul, I used the light blue one last night and mounted on a Flatt body. Talk about PERFECTION. I too wish I got more hero heads. All I have left is a black one. And an Achmed head as well.

I just reread this whole thread and realized you talked about the CAW figure before the Mego-Eat.
I wish David Lee could get more of those heads for his Amerikaiju Store.
