That still looks like a fan-altered photoshop color job of the b and w pic. I would think WB and Snyder would want their first real image to blow minds, this does not. I'm hoping for some blue/grey suit action but I want a high res pic. Surprised nothing has been officially released to Entertainment Weekly. They pay out the butt for stuff like that.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

          What he said.

I was hoping for something more original and less molded/rubbery. If these actors are working out and buffing up for these parts, why hide all that work under layers of foam and rubber?
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

That version of the photoshopped picture has been around since the original b&w came out.

I hope the colors are close to this, though. It'd be nice to get a gray/black Batman for once.

                  Am I missing something here?

If there's ANY movie where the muscle suit is necessary, it's a movie that's attempting to interweave as many aspects of Miller's DK, one of the most important comicbook stories of all-time, into it.

                  Isn't this suit a given?

I don't remember a Micheal Keaton style rubber fake muscle suit in DKR. There was one bit in the book about Bats armoring his chest and putting a big yellow target on it. Nothing else outside the Iron Man style suit at the end. There have been stills of Superman in the same sort of a fake muscle suit. Pretty sure Superman doesn't need armor or wore any in DKR.

Hopefully we'll start seeing some straight on shots pretty soon. Cinematic history shows that when studios are excited, they tend to be eager to get it in front of the public. These doctored and low lit images are a bit old hat at this point. Warner Bros. lets see some nice shots of this new edition Bats before toys hit shelves.

No, he didn't wear armor---but that kind of thing evokes the DK stylized tone as far as what Supes looked like visually, and what Bats was "hyping" his body to be---and that's my point.

Colour scheme is good. Finally a movie suit that isn't all black. Or a rubber straitjacket.

I think the suit looks INCREDIBLE! Other than spandex...how much closer can we get to the comics costume in a "live action" Superhero movie? But I guess, it's impossible to please everybody.
