    Really simple Superman custom.

I bought a naked 8" Superman about six months ago. Last week I decided it was time to do something with him. First I searched for a decent original costume and couldn't find one I was happy with. So I picked up boots, blue bodysuit, red shorts and cape from CTVT. I guess where the "custom" part comes in is the belt I made from foam sheet from the dollar store. I'm not totally happy with the buckle but considering I cut the circle free hand with an exacto knife I'm pretty happy with it.

Up next is a chest emblem. Trying to decide to buy pre made stickers or try my hand at making one with an idea I have. I'll probably end up trying both and see which I like better.

I'd also like to touch up his hair. Is there any paint that's better than another?

Like the title says really simple "custom". I think it has lit a fire for a new part of the hobby though. Now I have other figure ideas rolling around in my head.

Toys and comics. My house isn't big enough. It's an addiction.

I like the texture of that body suit.

I saw this on the Facebook earlier when you posted it. Looks great!

Just spitballing based on your comment about the circle. How about using a cigar punch cutter to create a perfect circle? Never thought about this myself until your comment.

          Looks good.

If you are going to go the pre-made sticker route, I strongly recommend contacting Paul at LaserMego, whatever material he uses for chest emblems seems to adhere better to fabric than some of the other pre-made stickers I have used.

Very nice, a touch up on the hair and a chest sticker and we're golden, maybe a card or box too.
