^I know he was rumored to be Black Manta. I think that would have worked better, but he's had his head covered up for part of it at least. That's Manta's whole thing, that helmet. Deadshot has been reinterpreted in recent years with less confining headgear.

I think Smith has the ability to pull people out of movies, I get that, I can never take Keanu Reeves seriously because of that. Maybe he'll surprise us, he can act.

After seeing Dallas Buyer's Club, I think Jared Leto could really ad an interesting flavour to the Joker.

Leto is a fine actor so I expect he will do well; however, I really don't care for the "good looking" version of Joker that's been bouncing around the DCU from time to time over the last decade. Of course, I don't like the face removed version either.

I saw the Arkam Asylum animated movie which was basically Joker vs. the Suicide Squad. I guess that's the direction this might be going, otherwise I don't see Joker working well within the Squad. He'd find a way to detonate all the other villians' embedded bombs just for fun.

I am looking forward to it. I like Will Smith. so is this going to be the cast to spread throughout the rest of the DC cinematic universe or will they recast for other movies using these characters?

It just dawned on me the guy playing Boomerang was Varro in the first season of Starz's Spartacus. He's also playing Kyle Reese in the next Terminator movie.
