    Chespirito gone...

    Roberto Gomez Bolanos...

Spanish speakers (and others) from around the world grew up watching him on TV, a true icon of Mexican/Latin television...

    RIP, Chapulin Colorado...

Definitely the number one show in Latin America during the 70s.

awww so sad! Icon for Latinos, loved his work. I recently got my daughter into El Chavo and she totally enjoyed it. No big budget needed everything was in the comedy and how that cast delivered it. Will be highly missed...:(

Loved how Don Ramon would kiss his knuckle before bringing down the hammer. Pure gold.

        Toma!

          Ha, ah yes, the memories!

          Thanks for sharing those pics.

Here's another that fans came up with, superheroes paying their respects to Mr Bolanos...

The first one Chespirito meets his nemesis, Don Ramon, who is waiting for him in Heaven. The second, Don Ramon promises that he will no longer hit him upside the head with his knuckle, and the last, Chespirito is greeted by previous deceased cast members, with a plater of tortas (sub sandwiches), where he will never be hungry ever again.

            Awwwwww....

One of the greatest comedians EVER! A unique Mexican star like Mario Cantinflas.

Who's gonna fill his shoes? Who's there for the new generations? Man, the world has been losing not only huge icons, but also TALENT.

What a sad, sad new. Chespirito will be deeply missed.
