TO WEAR A BOOT OR NOT TO WEAR A BOOT, THIS IS THE QUESTION (RC Batman and WW)

    Hi fellow collectors !!!

The other day I was sorting my loose WGSH and I started to wonder :

    1. Should a large-star-costume Wonder Woman wear boots in order to be complete?
I know that the Silk Screen Version can be found with and without boots instead...

    2. Should a Removable Cowl Batman with Stirrup suit wear exclusively Skinny boots or would Standard boots be ok too?

    2. Should a NON Removable Cowl Batman with Stirrup suit wear exclusively Skinny boots or would Standard boots be ok too?

    THANKS!!!!

As to whether or not to put skinny or standard boots, I suppose it depends on how "Mego-accurate" you want to be? I don't have either of the Batman figures you're referring to, so I cannot say whether or not either one exclusively wore one style of boot over the other, but if they did, you could always put whatever boots you have on the figure to make him at least semi-complete...

I know I'd rather have some type of footwear on a figure than nothing at all: Then if it's incorrect, you can always replace them at a later time...

      going by bejamins book,

skinny boots T1/T0 rc batman with stirrups
regular boots T1 rc/std batman T1 no stirrups
large stars WW should have boots, the only ones not to have boots were the early release with regular stars and the straight arm version. the large stars version was 2nd version box.

Thx for the PRECIOUS info ...

And what about the batman Suit...Are you so gentle to confirm my deductions?
        1. Cloth Emblems can be found ONLY on T2 bodies
        2. T1 Stirrup Suits CANNOT have polyester trunks but ONLY Nylon Trunks
        3. T1 NON Stirrup Suits can have both polyester and Nylon Trunks

        THANKS!

off the top of my head.....

right, cloth emblems only on late T2 cloth polyester trunks

          best i can tell
T1 stirrups with nylon possible canvas* (maybe someone can confirm)
T1 non stirrups with nylon, canvas, polyester
          T2 polyester

i say canvas, its a thicker material but similar to the nylon.

The Canvas trunks batman that I bought from a fellow member here is an earlier removable cowl but does not have stirrups or skinny boots - I don't know if that helps

Mark... I have a last doubt...

A "Fixed Cowl T1 Batman" should ALWAYS be wearing a NON Stirrup suit or could it be found wearing a Stirrup suit too?

Is the list still on here that tells you what RC Batman should and shouldn't have?

I thought this as well--stirrup-suits only on early RC Bats, with skinny boots.

                      ANYWAY:
                      1. Stirrup suits come only with RC Batmans
                      2. Skinny boots can only be found on T1/T0 RC Batmans with stirrups
                      3. Regular boots can be found on both T1 RC and T1 std Batmans with no stirrups even if I have a couple of MIB RC Batmans with standard boots and stirrups (!!)
                      4. Cloth emblems are found only on late T2s with polyester trunks
                      5. T1 stirrups can only have nylon or possibly canvas trunks
                      6. T1 non stirrups can have nylon, canvas, polyester trunks
                      7. T2 can only have polyester trunks
                      8. T1 Batmans tend to have violet capes...blue capes normally belong to T2 figures

                      CIAO!

I've never seen a Wonder Woman with boots other than in pictures. They must be pretty rare?
