With the past few years of expanded hours and days of the "Black Friday" shopping insanity I gotta admit; I'm really sick of it all. Something about retailers offering me a "super crazy, best deal ever, 50+% off what I bought last week at full price" really gets under my skin. Never mind the fact that some folks really loose their minds over these "great deals" that in the end turn out to be inferior products not sold any other time of the year in the same said retail locations. So what say you? In or Out?

Nope, Cyber Monday for me. I'm not leaving this house on Friday!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true." -

Have no desire whatsoever to do this. Hate crowds. Hate spending money on things nobody in my family really needs. I'm spending the day after Thanksgiving the way the pilgrims wanted us to: Sweating turkey juice from every pore and cursing the growing food baby inside of me.Comment

If EVER there was a day to sleep in and stay in your jammies, it would be the day after stuffing your face with Turkey, pies, and wine.
Admittedly, I love following the media hype over it, and take sick pleasure in seeing the desperation of retailers trying to one-up each other. With all of them trying to start earlier and earlier, they have now pretty much "destroyed" Black Friday as we knew it.
I do enjoy looking for bargain blu rays online, but that's about it.Comment

Nothing at any store even attempts to tempt me, think we will stay home and feed leftovers to the cats.Comment

Can't imagine anything out there that will get me out of bed Friday morning. Don't need a tv or DVD player, gaming systems aren't our thing, all the cheap movies will be on Netflix or cable anyway, any good deals on toys are online, and clothes will still be there next week.
As far as going out Thanksgiving night... I'll be comatose so no.Comment
