I really don't do too many movies anymore, and this in fact will probably be the next thing I see in theaters. That being said, how fast do you think this will pop up online? The last time that I can remember wanting to see a teaser trailer for something, there was a bit of a wait between it popping up in theaters and hitting the net. That was a number of years ago, so I'd imagine it has changed, but I know I'm not the only one who remembers stories of people paying to see a movie just to see a sixty second teaser.

Disney has chosen to release the teaser at 30 select movie theaters around the country in front of EVERY movie showing from 11-28 to 11-30. Presumably it'll be online on December 1st, or sometime thereafter. There's also rumors of a shorter teaser playing during the Thanksgiving NFL game.

This is purportedly from the other, alternate teaser:


*Fade in from black, shots of the dunes, Boyega pops in to the shot from below. He’s wearing white Stormtrooper armor but he doesn’t have a helmet on.

*In the teaser we only see Boyega and Ridley really.

*Ridley boards a speeder. She has a helmet on like Endor Leia, a design with pop-down goggles.

*A shot of Ridley’s speeder approaching the station (the TMZ set we saw).

*We see the new Stormtroopers on a transport. The flight is turbulent.

*New X-wings.

*TIE Fighters.

*The new ball droid that’s a gyroscope and belongs to “Kira.”

*The new “Sith” is also revealed. He has a cross-beam lightsaber and the beam is a bit wilder and more super-charged than your normal lightsaber.

*The Falcon.

Ah.
Here in Belgium, they're planning on just showing it before The Hobbit. I'm guessing they'll expand that later to other movies...

I won't spoil it, but I'll say that it looks great, but I was really hoping to see the old cast in the first trailer.

It's a year away... I don't blame them for pacing out the reveals....

Don't want to throw too much out there too soon since we still have a little over a year yet to go. My guess is that a full trailer will be revealed at Celebration Anaheim in April, then attached to Avengers Age Of Ultron in May. I thought the teaser was well done. The local FOX afilliate aired it during their morning and afternoon newscasts today.
