    Toronto Toy Show Report

Went to the Toronto Toy Show this weekend, this was the first show I ever attended as young man and it's been one of those things that I would look forward to for weeks. I can't count how many friends i made through there that I still see socially and talk to regularly. Attending always reminds me of good times and younger days.

Sadly. while the Toronto toy show scene is growing, this one seems to be just dying or thought of as the "old man's show" I posted a recap with pretty pictures on MC.

Well, I am happy to report that I seemed like "young man in the room", I'd say the average age hovered around 55-60.

I once got on a plane from doing Kane County and hit a toy show, then a comic show going on in different parts of Buffalo NY. It was two solid days of indulgence and I bought the most toys at the comic show!

Part of the fun of toy shows is seeing who buys what. A scriffy middle aged man buying every romance comic you have on the table. A Mexican who doesn't speak English making sure his interpreter pays for the dvd of The last Days of Hitler.
