That is awesome. This looks to be the same sculpt as the very strange video game version NECA is making. I may have to go for this.

You are correct sir. According to a friend of mine who received the NINTENDO variant of the figure as a review sample, it is scaled down from the 18 inch figure. NECA told him that other than one or two modifications, the figure was the same as the 1/4 scale figure.Comment

I went ahead and went for it. That's easily a $20 figure, so you're getting the blu-ray for $10. Not too shabby.
