    Cosby Show

TV Land has pulled reruns of 'The Cosby Show' from their schedule due to Cosby's recent issues. What's next, 'I Spy' and 'The Bill Cosby Show' show getting pulled from RTV?

Probably...and I Spy on Cozi and Antenna TV too, I'll bet.

not recent issues, these stories have been chasing Cosby around for years.

Reminds me of the recent stuff involving Stephen Collins. Up TV pulled 7th Heaven due to his behavior. What's going on with these "TV dads"? Who's next, Michael Gross or Dick Van Patten?

If they pulled everything that had a cast or crewmember that was somewhat suspicious, there would be nothing on TV.
Bing Crosby was reported as being a real tyrant to his family, so what's next, no White Christmas this year?
Shatner was accused of being involved in his wife's drowning. So no more Star Trek?

Are we going to punish the whole Cosby crew because of this? Maybe they can CG Eddy Murphy in the series to replace him?

Let the legal system sort it out. I, for one, will still watch Capricorn One, and Towering Inferno and Naked Gun, no matter what OJ did.

I wonder how many remember the controversy about Bob Crane since Hogans Heroes is still being shown.

Think they should leave the show on.

              .
Bob Crane used to shoot amateur porno movies with his friend (for their own use)

His friend murdered him when Crane wanted to stop making movies with him.

              No rapes.

Only thing controversial is some of the woman didn't know Crane was filming them.

How often does that happen today ?

His case shouldn't be compared with a possible serial-rapist

I wasnt comparing the two. I'm definately not defending Cosby if its true.

The show itself is a completely different matter though. Like the others stated, its like punishing the entire cast.

I think that it's unlikely that the legal system will get involved, at all. Unless, in a particular allegation, the statute of limitations haven't run out or the particular state doesn't have a statute of limitations on rape/sexual assault. As far as I am aware, most or all of these allegations are decades old.

It seems possible that sponsors would rather pay for spots on shows without this much heat on them - sometimes it's just a matter of dollars and sense.

If they use that airtime to showcase something like UFO or the Avengers episodes I agree 100% with TvLand's hard line stance.

Even though i'm not a huge fan of Cosby I do respect his squeaky clean humor.

                        He's basically today's Red Skelton.

You know when you watch him you won't be embarrassed to watch with your parents or kids.

I hope for his fan's sake it's not true.

To me it seems like if you have millions of dollars and you have a taste for an 18 year old gal you just whisper to one of your entourage to find you a clean wh_re

What a relief! I won't even have a chance of landing on it by mistake now. If he did what' s alleged, he's a perv.
I watched Cosby in the 80's like everyone else, but I have no desire to see them again . I only recall one or 2 movies I enjoyed with him in it, but not classics by any means, IMO. I still hate the fact he bought the little rascals to keep them off the air. C'mon man!

That never happened. It's a complete and total fabrication. Cosby does not and never has owned them in any capacity.

Then I hate whoever for whatever reason they aren't on. Luckily I have them on DVD. Hopefully others do not come forward to accuse him of that.
