Classic Evil Dead fans --- need your opinion.

Back in the day I was a huge Evil Dead fan.

When George Harrison came out with his video I've Got My Mind Set On You I couldn't help but notice at least a subconscious resemblance to this scene from Evil Dead-2.

Like a messed up PeeWee's playhouse. But more horror oriented

I told this to my friends and family back in the day and it's been an injoke with us ever since.

    George video

Just wondering if anyone else ever thought this ?

    Absolutely thought this before!!!
That's a complete rip from evil dead 2.
We're not alone Mikey other people have made the comparison before as well,a quick internet search and you'll see.
    Both are still great though.

Yeah, I noticed it too. If George had gotten into a fight with his possessed hand, that would have made for a more exciting video!

And wasn't there TWO videos for this song? This one was the one in heavy rotation, but I recall another where George is a figure in a music box, singing and playing the song, and it has a more 50s/60s feel?

yes there were two videos for the song. I believe one was originally for the England audience. the second video was a kid in the early sixties or so trying to get a ballerina toy out of one of the game machines for a pretty girl he had seen trying to get it

              Definitely a rip-off.
And oddly enough, what happens in the video has nothing to do with the song, so what's the point?
