    Auton

Been tinkering with Pertwee era Who characters for a while, this one is fresh from the pressure pot. Have to figure out a nice gloss for him and get some jumpsuits.

You sculpt that head from scratch or is it polymer over an existing head? Either way looks cool (and more than a little creepy) so far.

That head reminds me of the Observers from Fringe. Very cool!

It's not my sculpt, I used hydrospan on an existing toy. It's supposed to be a mannequin come to life, it's very creepy.

Looks Great! I know from experience that hydrospan doesn't always retain the proportions of the original casting. This, however, seems to. Excellent work! Now you just need to make others in blue boiler suits to achieve their iconic menacing look from Spearhead...

It certainly is a trial and error process (more error than anything) . I usually have to do three or four to get it right, this guy was a dream however. The Master is another story.

And yeah, I'm going to get some jump suits made up ASAP.

Looks just like a mask! You really got the vacant stare down, too.

I had never watched any Dr Who until last week. I looked on Netflix and started with the series with the Autons in it. Man those things are creepy as hell! At first glance they look cheesy and stupid but the more you watch the creepier they get.
