Can't believe they're finally making this one!
It'll be a great year, as Sideshow is releasing a 1/6 scale Snake by the end of the year.
Life can't get any better than having an 8" and a 12" Snake!!!
In the movie, Snake's original arm tattoo ended up on his belly, made it bit easier during shooting, I guess....

I preordered 2, and I'm going to use the parts off of one of them to complete my custom Snake. I'm so glad they included so much stuff!!
OMG, I ordered the Sideshow one as well! There's only a handful of characters that I will pretty much buy no matter what and Snake in one of them.
I am going to need the stomach tattoo as well. Anyone make custom waterside decals?

The arm tattoos photos are from promotional stills prior to the film of the movie in pre-production stage. According to Kurt, it was his idea to change the tattoo location for obvious "phallic chicanery". LOL
– As for Snake’s iconic tattoo and its location on his body, Russell said, “If you’re going to have a tattoo of a cobra, that’s where it should be.”Russell mentions he and Carpenter bounced back and forth on ideas of why he was called “Snake.” The stomach tattoo was added as such. “I must say that after we did this I got some of my favorite fan letters from girls who saw this tattoo,” says Russell, laughing all the way through. “They thought that was wonderful.” Carpenter mentions he wouldn’t mind reading some of those letters. Russell laughs at this. The world laughs with him.
As much as I would like a 12" Snake, it would be too much. LOL I prefer the 8" size, just right and takes up less space.
