Odd, yes, but as someone who opens everything, it doesn't bother me. I was just glad to get them so soon.

I think the two packs were always intended for the diehard collectors, but it was a harder sell when they put out single editions first. They've just switched up the rotation so the twin packs will sell better.

I think most people know they are coming in singles, you can already go to the FTC site and buy a carry case preloaded with GA and Shazam as loose figures.

The only thing that will be hurt will be any future 2-pack sales after everyone saw how the current waves were thrown in the clamshell with no tiedowns.

They will probably sell the same amount of green arrow figure either way;

If they used the original formula and released the single carded green arrow before the 2 pack version, sales on 2 pack would suffer.
If they use the new formula and release the 2 pack green arrow before the single carded version, sales on the single will suffer.

But they charge more for the two pack, so between the two choices, selling the 2 pack first is a better monitary choice for them.

Any way they can get people to pay more for the same figure they will, if they can get away with cutting costs they will. Thats business.

Yep. I keep waffling on the Super Powers figures, currently thinking of giving them a pass.
