I won't debate his merits in terms of products but some of his online antics were absolute PR misfires.
Yeah, I sometimes wonder how much was him, and how much he was just a mouthpiece for Mattel...but the way they often handled fan reaction was textbook bad example of how to treat your devoted fanbase. I think DC took some tips from them.

I can take "blame" ---if I like the rest of what I'm seeing.

Blame me all the heck ya want Scott!

        Oh---and: "Take my money."

Not familiar with ToyGuru... Can anyone catch me up on why he's controversial?

In order for my Target to get more JLU figures I would buy out there stock forcing them to get more figures. This is why I was able to complete my set of JLU figures. I still have loose figures that I repaint from time to time. I hated having to keep buying Batman and Superman.
              Visit my wiki site:

To view my custom works of both JLU and Megos go to:

I can't afford to buy up the dregs just so I can then get what I want.

It's not my job or responsibility to clear out crap so that someone else gets a chance to beat me to something people actually want.

I like the 6" line but a lot of the figures are hit and miss R2 was awful but Han Greedo and the Stormtroopers were very cool but wht did they have such odd releases Four Lukes now and not one from a new hope also R2 but no C-3PO just seems really odd choices to me
