Did not want to wait for funko, so I did this over the weekend.

Made a quick push mold of the head, poured it with plaster. Then made a vacuform of that.

Cut out the unwanted pieces and gave it a quick blast with the airbrush

I think it turned out well. It really brings out the sculpt and looks much closer to the 18inch figure. Ryan

Question: Are the Uni Monster's hands poseable/glued on separately? I haven't opened mine, but my Wolfman has two left hands! Drat!!

That looks terrific, but yes, why the need to take a mold... Why not just paint on the figure's skull directly?

Those are the steps to make a custom paint mask. I dislike brushmarks on my customs.Ryan

It's the pistol from a Golden Compass Tartar Soldier.

I bought the figure because I liked how it looked like a Cossack.

I think a Red Skull figure also featured a Broomhandle Mauser, and might be easier to find.
