Christmas In October!

Hey, my direct FTC order arrived today, coincidentally also the day I picked up Batman '66 Wave 2, the accessory pack, and a cheap Zira from my local comic store. It's the moment my seven-year-old self always dreamed of!





Of course, it's also the moment my credit-card-owning adult self always feared... but what the heck, Christmas in October only comes once a year!

(Yeah, it'd be nice if the two-packs looked more presentable too, but I was planning on opening 'em anyway.)

Yes... yes it is. However, on the positive side, the accessory pack was only $30 at my LCS (I have a feeling they mis-priced it, but perhaps that's just October Santa's doing), so that eases the sting a tiny bit.

Now that've opened most of 'em, they're all in pretty decent shape, aside from the 2-pack Superman-- the head is somewhat flattened and the eye paint job is off. But to have only one out of 20 FTC figures be questionable seems like a great ratio, considering what I'm reading on the board.)

Nice haul! Enjoy and have fun being a Mego kid again! I also have all of these so far except Batman 66 stuff which I intend to get! I ordered same 2 packs (except Batman Robin) August 22 and expected to get 6 NEW figures the next week! The 2 packs were delayed a month and I got Superman and Supergirl single carded in meantime but was still excited when Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Shazam arrived! Now all we need is Clark Kent to complete original Mego DC WGSH!

JEALOUS! Those do look awesome. I just know though that if I started collecting the 66 Batman line, I wouldn't be able to stop.

I was thinking the same thing! Great haul, hate seeing the loose figures in the 2-packs but he got the 3 that have already sold out, so good job there.
