If this line was meant to be about Marvel Retro-Action figures, I would have preferred Thor and Iron Man BEFORE Wolverine. Now I can only hope I will see the Thor and Iron Man sets some day... I'll buy one Wolverine set just to support the line...

I think the fat gloves are mimicking what Mego would have done back in the day, and are a design choice following the license parameters: Mego exact reproduction (or designed to look like Mego had made it back then), updated classic look, and secret identity.

I don't think Mego would of done the fat boots. Thor's boots were probably the most detailed and the rubber was much thinner than the way these look. These do look like famous covers boots, their oversized boots and hands and undersized heads was what made me dislike them.

Nice set. The boots and mask have a famous covers look. Hope that can be improved upon with subsequent figures. I'd like to see a photo with the removable mast on the figure.

They're not exactly the same but pretty similar.

I'd rather they be the milk bottle plastic or like Mego Thor's boots, but that's just my opinion.

I just noticed the card in front of Wolverine set says Winter 2015. That's March at latest!

Dec. 2014- Spidey
Jan. 2015- Captain America
Feb. or March 2015- Wolverine

Is DST releasing more than 4 sets a year? I'd at least like a set every other month 6 a year!

Sadly, I gotta say I'm disappointed. My favorite is the brown & tan Costume...I'll still probably by the set just for him. I'll either sell the other two, or use them for "custom fodder" and find BETTER head sculpts. Damn shame it didn't turn out better.

I'm sure we'll see better versions later I think this was rushed to meet the show,doc said"the paint was still wet"I do hope we get brown/tan and not orange as that's the wrong color and I would've been happy with just one head of logan(the two are too similar)I'm iffy on the removable mask

Since they're just prototypes, and mighty cool looking at that, I'm sure stuff like the thick boots and outfits will be tweaked by the time they go into full production. Regardless, I'm buying a set the day they're available

After seeing the Cap set, these are more than a little disappointing.

I think companies showing early prototypes like this do themselves more harm than good. And I do hope these are early early protos. Because right now, I would not be buying these.

It's interesting that they're on to their third prototype set and no one has seen one production piece from this Cadillac line yet. As much talk as there is about production samples being a part of the assessment process, I would sure like someone connected to this series to start showing what these heads (and figures) will actually look like in production (at least the Spider-man set).
