AFI has pic of Wolverine set at NYCC

I knew there would be a Logan alter ego outfit but I am happily surprised there are 2 DIFFERENT Wolverine costumes- 1st yellow blue and 2nd brown orange! Yet both look same style, 1 does not look Mego-esque or 1 updated! I thought license restriction limited character to 1 costume- Mego and updated!

Still a nice set! Hope Thor is next!

How could a Jean Grey set be handled- 2 different Marvel Girl costumes or 2 different Phoenix costumes, but not 1 Marvel Girl and 1 Phoenix costume?

Does each set require an alter ego even if a character had 3 costumes?

I like it. It gives you about everything you could ask for, removable cowl, three heads...WOW! The two Logan heads look slightly different. I'm seeing Cockrum in the grimacing one, and the Byrne in the normal face.

Nice set. The boots and mask have a famous covers look. Hope that can be improved upon with subsequent figures. I'd like to see a photo with the removable mast on the figure.

You can definitely see some Mego Conan influence in that classic Wolverine headsculpt. I think it's a pretty close approximation of what Mego would've done.

Looks pretty nice, though I'm disappointed that his first appearance "whisker" mask is not included as an extra head sculpt.

This was the one I've been waiting for. I hate the fat boots/gloves but I think these were borrowed from Famous Covers. At least I hope they are. Otherwise another home run.

Yeah hope these are mock-ups and that the gloves on yellow wolvie and the boots will not be thick fat famous covers style, everything else looks great. The Brown Wolvie doesn't have the fat gloves.... so I hope both end up like that.

I think the fat gloves are mimicking what Mego would have done back in the day, and are a design choice following the license parameters: Mego exact reproduction (or designed to look like Mego had made it back then), updated classic look, and secret identity.
