    Logan's Run tv series

Just an FYI, WalMart has the complete series on DVD for ten bucks.

    Saaayyyy whaaaaa!!!

Too bad Walmart Canada has different buyers and we might not get that up here. I remember at this years Mego Meet we stopped in a Walmart in the US and they had a full shelf of BLu-Ray Godzilla movies. Some of those titles STILL haven't made their way up North. Kick myself for not buying them all.

Any fellow Canucks spot the Logan's Run set up here yet?

The Logan's Run TV series has been available in Canada since it was released, must be almost a year ago. I picked it up at HMV on day 1.

I was referring to it being on sale at Walmart for $10 specifically and how Walmart USA and Walmart Canada actually stock very different items.

Jeez, of course they do. I paid in full when it was first released.

On the "plus" side, I got the full series of Buck Rogers a while back for $15, and then Uni released the individual seasons at, I think, $25.

Always liked the series. It took the rather dour, serious tone of the (great) movie and added some extra fun to the concept. Really liked Rem and the vehicle they traveled in.

For me personally, Gonzo is a decent enough likable character and Jessica's skirt seals the deal

IMO, that alone should have made it last at least a second season

When I finished watching the series I was left with wanting more

Back in the day, it was always getting pre-emptive on our local network station. I was thrilled when this came out on DVD. It did make me wish for more when I got to the end.
                        It's all good!

They showed it a couple of times on the old Sci-Fi network, back before they became SyFy (ew!)

It's too bad that the figures for this series were all trashed and burned. I would have been happy to have one!
