Just got back from seeing Guardians

Wow.

I know there's a lot of threads covering this film, so I'll keep it brief. I wasn't aware than a modern film maker could still have a film with the perfect balance of action, comedy, the wonderous, the adventurous and full of heart. I can honestly say this without hesitation, it's the best Marvel film so far...by a wide margin. I did really like Winter Soldier, but this movie completely engulfs you and smothers you with it's intelligent and sharp script. The only thing I didn't care for was the Nova Corp. They all seemed like dweebs, even Glenn Close. My wife totally adores Groot and was crying at the end. He was probably the best character in the movie.

Bottom line this will likely be the best movie I see this year and maybe even next year...

Totally agree! At the risk of repeating myself, I think it is the closest experience I will ever have to seeing "Star Wars" again for the first time.

Star Lord is the heart and soul of this movie...but Groot was great too.

GOTG definitely had that Star Wars vibe to me.

Great movie, will definitely buy the Blu ray, oh yes.
