wow, glad I got mine. Guess this shows that more people are interested in villains rather than civilians. Hope this doesn't spell trouble for Alfred or O'Hara. In my case I have no interest in having multiples of the same person in my display, so I really didn't want the alter egos. If they are stuck with leftovers they could redress them for the RC versions down the road and repurpose the clothes for Gilligan and Mr. Howell.

Alter ego's are definitely the poorer seller's.....I think Alfred and O'hara will sell better though

Gilligan, LOL!
It does look more like Gilligan's shirt than Burt Ward's and it's because Gilligan wore a red shirt with a white collar.
Burt Ward wore a white shirt with different colored sweaters over it and one of his sweaters was red.
I think he also wore blue, green and a mustard colored sweater.
Anyway, the FTC version is a red shirt with white collar but it doesn't look all that bad (to me) and it will probably be used again for Gilligan.

They should keep a few on hand for replacement; that's a common practice, even with smaller lines like this. Then again, perhaps they usually do, but sent out all they had now to fill as many orders as possible, planning on taking the replacement stock out of the second wave.

Just to follow up, I received wave 2 of Batman 66 the day after posting this and they look great!

I really like Penguin and Egghead. Burgess Merideth is the Penguin to me and it's a nice job on him as well as egghead. Bruce and Dick are well made, but the likenesses aren't as on point as Penguin and Egghead. The heads are a little round compared to the photos on the packages. Black Knight did an Adam West head that was better. But the clothes can be repurposed for customs if I want at some point. This line continues to shine for me.

Looking forward to Madhatter and King Tut, but am a little apprehensive about Catwoman and Batgirl. Female likeness seem to be much more difficult to do for mego-like figures. But maybe it will work out.

I know mego style is rooted hair, but it might be better to go with sculpted hair.
