Thanks Guys,, it came in a collection of Star Wars and Gi Joe 3 3/4. I thought it may be Robotech,, oh well unsolved~~

Try looking at the mattel "heroes in action" line. Most of the guns had 2 handles but there were a few that didn't. Scale wss slightly bigger and dates of issue were about the same as sw and joe.

Photographs next to another accessory would help in establishing scale. Maybe a vintage SW weapon, as they're pretty well known.
