Definitely a Mego wrong even making him.

I'm looking forward to him. Hope the final product is as good as the megomuseum's early production sample! LOOKS GREAT...only complaint: I would have LOVED MYXY on a child body (sounds so bad lol)....but I really like him on this TEEN body (again sounds bad!)

I hope that FTC releases limited runs of BOTH Myx'x on 8" bodies though! Or at least the OUTFIT pieces on their website for making an 8" mego version! That would make me very happy!

***100th Post! Yay for me! Only took me 15 years of lurking to finally sign up & get 100 posts!

I don't think MEGO making Mxyzptlk in the first place was wrong at all. His Super Friends episodes are some of the most entertaining ones made.

Considering that they could have made Brainiac and/or Luthor instead, I agree!

I don't think the character itself was a bad choice; just making him with what was available was a bad choice. Or how they made him, on a 8-inch fat body, if the teen or child body as available for use. But because Mxy was a adult, maybe that contributed him to being made on a adult body.

LOL! When you consider that Mego passed on figures like Lex Luthor and Bizarro to make him, I tend to agree. It would be like only making one villain for Batman, and choosing Penguin over Joker, Catwoman or Riddler.

Never owned one and probably won't get this one, never liked the character at all. Mego should of made Lex Luther instead.

I will be getting this one for sure! Never had it as a kid, but boy do I remember seeing him on the pegs back in the day. Always on the pegs! Plus, this one actually improves on the Mego version with the size and boots being tweaked.

Definitely not a favorite but a definite improvement over the original.

I would love a re-do of the original fat man version someday, but this scale works so much better for the character. I think it was a wise move and very well executed.
