^^^ I agree, as long as a remedy for the FTC's WARTS is being formulated right now! lol. Seriously I hope the issues get resolved SUPER Fast! I would like nothing more than to enjoy these FTC re-Mego figures w/out worries of replacing anything straight out the box. I have dreamt of this happening for DECADES & just posted such sentiments in the WW Shipping thread! I hope FTC gives me re-mego DC figures for years to come, & that FTC gives me nothing but products I can rave about!

I've been kicking around here for a while now and I can tell you guys, they can release absolutely ANY line of remego's and some will love them and some will poop all over them and never be happy. That's just reality. I personally think FTC's WGSH are by far the best remego's I've ever seen and have seen just as many "warts" in the competition.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

^^^ I'd say EMCE Star Trek was 1st for me but FTC WGH (WGSH re-dos) are 2nd, & all other re-megos are far behind in desirability for me, but that's because Of the properties. FTC may surpass my expectations & make their DC offering 1st place. I had way more hours of fun w/ my DC Mego's as a boy, so I'm hoping FTC reigns supreme in the battle of the re-megos! I sincerely hope that this epic last chance goes smoothly from the next wave on. I loved my Mego Dukes, but although I think the costumes are great, I would prefer FTC do some re-mego exact replicas of the Dukes in 8", just shrink Daisy's head or make a new Daisy. The new FTC Dukes haven't interested me, as I liked the goofy Mego DUKES of the 70s. But otherwise, if FTC did the old Duke Boys & Boss Hog w/ a General Lee, I would have my top 3 favorite mego 8" lines reborn! That would make me very happy! I think FTC is going to do great if they have a quick learning curve & get past these early set backs & issues! I'm sure hoping they do, as I'll buy 2-4 of everything DC & Batman 66 for sure!Last edited by invisiblelad; Sep 28, '14, 9:46 PM.Comment

mine were the same way flopping around in the clamshell accept Superman's head was turned backwards and his head was a bobble headComment

Doesn't quite look like advertised. I usually leave my figures in the package but may not be able to with this one.Comment

I just received pink cowel Bats and his hand was flopping around. I asked FTC for a new zip tie and they sent one pretty quick. One of the problems with customer service is the email form on their site. You can only fit about 20 words. My daughter just saw this with the packing slip and said "You paid $73.00 (with shipping) for that? Are you going to send it back?". I don't know what i'm going to do. I ordered GA/AM as well and should see them this week.Comment

Yep, those will take some "staging" before they can be displayed prominently.
The good news is that the figures themselves look great! The costumes seem to fit well and the heads look pretty much as in proportion as the original Mego figures. NO BIG HEADS! YAY!
I'm waiting for my Supergirl/Batgirl 2 pack. We will see how those turn out.
I've pretty much decided to just restage my Wonder Woman figure and not alter her. She looks a LOT like the original Mego. Poor thang. Best to start over and make my own version I think.

I really can see the problem MOC folks would have with that, especially with the premium price tag. I got them to open as I couldn't wait for the singles likely not coming until next year (no willpower whatsoever here), but for those who got them to keep in the original packaging, this could really be a deal breaker. Given that I think all the figures up until now have been twisty tied down, most folks were rightly expecting that would be the case with these, as well.Comment

The clam shell does open enough to get the figures and the back out without cutting the zip tie. I'm going to find a couple ties from something around here and they should look better.Comment

The bodies seem pretty good. The heads are very loose and it's hard to get them to look straight. The outfits are very good. One of the problems seem to be the figures don't quite fit into the backing tray very well. I only played with it for a minute but they just don't sit right in it. And somehow I lost my Shazam lightning bolt. Found it, it slid to the picture side of the clamshell.Last edited by Wasimhosen; Sep 29, '14, 1:53 PM.Comment

Wasimhosen, I'm pretty weird & save A LOT more things than I need to. I've bought 2-4 of everything DC & Batman 66 so far, because I open 1 of everything, I have A LOT of actual FTC twist ties I can throw in an envelope for you. I would just need to know how many 2-packs you are getting; so I would know how many wrist, leg, neck, & waist ties to send you. FREE of course lol! Let me know if you want those exact ties (thick clear coated wires). It would be my pleasure to send them to you if you want them!Comment
