My walmart has reaction figures!

The Alien figures were great. These new ones are made very cheaply. I found a Terminator endoskeleton and the legs were so thin they were warped in the package. I have been very disappointed in the Terminator, Escape from New York, and Back to the Future lines. They don't look retro, just cheap!

Sounds like that Walmart is getting Alien and Rocketeer and Toy R Us is getting
Terminator, Firefly, Back To The Future, and Goonies.
Wish i had a TRUs close by.

The ALIEN figures are fantastic, and look just like Kenner figures...the rest, not so much. I saw the Arnold Terminator and it's honestly the worst piece of plastic crap I've ever laid eyes on. Just horribly done. It ticks me off that junk like this makes it to stores while ZICA's vastly superior Six Million Dollar Man line tanks.

That's because the Alien figures ARE Kenner figures. They are exact repros of protos that never got made. The rest are newly made figures, aping classic style.

And as great as SMDM (and the Zica toyline) is, it has very limited appeal. I know it's a bitter pill but it's true.

They are cool to see at Walmart.
Barns & Noble has the Alien figures.
TRU has Alien, Back To the future, one series I can't remember, Rocketeer, and Escape from NY figures.

If you sign up for Barns and Nobles club card (or whatever its called) you get an extra 10 % off purchases...it does cost some money to get it, but if you buy alot of books and such, its totally worth it. Their toy department gets bigger by the week

After getting the Alien Saturday night I had to get the Rocketeer today. They really are growing on me a lot. If more were at Walmart I would be inclined to keep buying but I can't see the MSRP plus shipping for them. But that's me and my cheap posterior.

I have to say I like these for their pukka value. So far I just have the Snake Plissken without coat that I picked up at TFAW in PDX. I plan to get more when I'm down there since it's all tax free. I plan on getting the glow in the dark versions if they are nice and definitely the clear Invisible Man.

I picked up both Snake Plissken figures at TRU this weekend...which I didn't intend to buy, but then I got all excited when I saw them and I blacked out I guess.

They had Back to the Future, Terminator, Firefly, and EFNY.

Yep. Same at my TRU. After seeing them in person I think they are actually nice and not as bad as people have been saying.
