So I do suppose it does matter where us americans and the world thinks. Just like Star Trek , Star Wars Doctor who would not be around if it not for the love of the entire world. For you to state something so insane as "it is a show made by the british people" are you kidding? Overseas sales impact any show in a huge way.

DOCTOR WHO is made by the BBC for the British audience. The fact that people around the world like it is merely extra profit for the BBC. I seriously doubt any of the executives have sat down and wondered what American viewers would like to see in the program. Their main demographic is the British viewer.


BTW, if you no longer enjoy the series, which is your prerogative, maybe you should stop watching it. I truly fail to see the point of continually posting about a subject that brings you so much displeasure. LIFE'S TOO SHORT!!!

Btw, the engineer was Frank Skinner, TV presenter and huge Who fan. He was thrilled!

He kind of added a "Hammer Films Quality" to the affair, Hammer was very good at casting the smaller roles.

I actually really liked the episode. The solution to the mummy didn't bother me at all (unlike the return of the moon egg) and it was a fun episode. Say what you will about the mummy not being scary, but my 8 year old had to watch with his hands over his eyes every time it appeared.

Interesting episode tonight. The premise was pretty good, and the realization of the creatures was quite effective.
Still think Capaldi's Doctor is excellent.
Next week's episode looks intriguing, and then the week after, it's the return of the Cybermen.

Possibly the most solid episode this year for me, a nice mix of creeps and laughs.

The shrinking Tardis really made this episode interesting.

Behind on a couple of episodes, but caught the Flatliners. What did he call them at the end? None of us could catch it. Other than that, a very well done episode. The effects with him reaching out of the tiny Tardis were great.

Oh, and that butt-head work foreman was the crook Michael Keaton says "I'm Batman" to at the beginning of the 89 film.

Hmmm, turns out he was pushing 40 in Batman, so I take back my "years not kind" comment. He was also the broker in Guardians of the Galaxy.
