^Yep! In fact, I'm surprised Timm hasn't gone over to Marvel toons at some point, given his obvious love of Marvel and some of his old comrades working there now.
I have no idea why this wasn't Ultimate Doctor Strange... it had movie treatment written all over it.
this one had a nice old school throwback to it...
anyone following New Avengers these days... I'm admittedly intrigued to see where they are going with it. Stephen is making some pretty dark deals and even sacrificing Justice League analoges... great moment recently where he took out "Doctor Fate".

Loved the Defenders episodes of the JLU cartoon. It was like getting two cartoons in one.
Ditko and Brunner are my favorite Doc artists, but for a character that has struggled to keep a title, he's really had an all-star cast of artists. The doc and Doom original graphic novel is an excellent one. It would be a great basis for a film if Marvel films had the rights to Doom.
You'd think Harry Potter would avoid any other role where he had to play a Sorcerer, Wizard, or Magician for as long as humanly possible... at least until his film career did dry up and he was forced to do what we once called straight to video stuff.
Likely hard to resist the potential payday for a Marvel film though (merchandising alone)... and what a coupe for Marvel/Disney if they snapped up the figurehead for Warner's former crown jewels.
It's Phoenix or Cumberbatch, but Benedict took himself out of the race verbally by committing to Hamlet on stage. I tend to believe it was a negotiating ploy and Marvel is being their usually cheap-arse selves. Phoenix can't command the salary he once did after acting bat-crap crazy, which fits the RDJ mold. Personally, I'm fine with either, but Benedict has a very Ditko vibe to him.
