It's from Marvel's Fireside series from the late 70s. I've only seen a couple of them when I was a kid--never owned one, apart from How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way--and they were awesome!Comment

Thanks, that's a great link. I recall lusting after several of those books as a kid--my local library had a few.

The artwork looks like a mixture of Joe Jusko and the Hildebrandt brothers. Pretty cool composition, even though I don't like the character.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Brunner is THE artist for Doctor Strange IMHO. Colan is my least favorite. The other of my least favorite was when Paul Smith had done his run on Doc. Paul inked himself in a lot of the issues and probably one of the least effective inking jobs ever done by Terry Austin in a few of those issues. Just wasn't a good fit for Paul Smith.
